Two random modifiers
Base spins can trigger one of two modifiers at random. The first locks in a minimum of 10,000 ways for that spin, up to the full 86,436. The second adds 100 extra buffalo symbols to the reel strips for the spin, which makes long buffalo connections far more likely.
Neither modifier is controllable. They arrive when they arrive, and together with the multiplying wilds they are what gives the base game its moments. Of the two, the ways modifier is the easier one to notice, because it takes the cramped low-ways spins that Megaways reels sometimes deal out and replaces them with a full-looking screen.
