Verdict: Buffalo Rising, Buffalo Gold and Buffalo Bucks can all fire in one round, which gives Triple Power the busiest feature in the Aristocrat family. Its 95.50% online RTP is among the family's highest; the 2,500x top jackpot is modest next to Max Power.
Three features, one round
Most Buffalo sequels add one idea to the original. Buffalo Triple Power adds three and lets them run together. Each is borrowed from elsewhere in the family, so the game reads a little like a greatest-hits package of the series.
Buffalo Rising is the first. It expands the reel set from the base 5x4 to a 4-5-6-5-4 matrix, the diamond shape Buffalo Diamond introduced in 2018. Buffalo Gold is the second: Gold Buffalo convert other symbols to Buffalo, the mechanic that began on Buffalo Gold in 2013. Buffalo Bucks is the third. Money bags land on the reels and pay credit prizes; the game’s three fixed jackpots belong to the Buffalo Rising feature.
Any of the three can be part of a feature, and they can combine. A round with Buffalo Rising and Buffalo Gold together, for example, puts the symbol conversion onto the larger diamond grid. Rounds where all three combine are what set the game apart from every earlier Buffalo title.
How the features are triggered
There are two routes in. The classic scatter trigger works as it does across the family. Alongside it sits a triple metamorphic trigger, Aristocrat’s name for the second route into the features. Aristocrat has not published the odds of any combination, so how often all three land together is not on record. Wild multipliers apply in the features.
What each feature adds on its own
Taken one at a time, the three features change a round in different ways. Buffalo Rising changes the space: going from 5x4 to 4-5-6-5-4 takes the grid from 1,024 ways to the 2,400 that the same shape gives on Buffalo Diamond, and the extra positions sit on the middle three reels. Buffalo Gold changes the symbols: every Gold Buffalo that converts another symbol puts more Buffalo on the screen, which is the idea that has driven the Gold line since 2013. Buffalo Bucks changes the prizes: the bags pay credits directly.
Put two of them together and they multiply each other’s effect. Symbol conversion on a 2,400-ways grid reaches more combinations than the same conversion on 1,024 ways, and bags landing on a larger grid have more positions to land on. A round with only one feature active plays much like a single-feature Buffalo sequel, which is worth knowing before expecting every bonus to be spectacular.
Triple Power or Gold Revolution?
Both games are online in New Jersey and both carry the gold-head conversion, so they compete directly for the same player. Gold Revolution puts a wheel in front of every feature and caps at 1,000x, with progressive jackpots on the wheel and a 95.05% RTP. Triple Power has no wheel, mixes three features, tops out at a 2,500x fixed jackpot and returns 95.50%. On the published numbers, Triple Power is the stronger choice for players in New Jersey, Michigan or Pennsylvania, and Revolution keeps the appeal of a progressive.
The base game and the 40-paylines puzzle
Outside the features, the game is a 5x4 grid with 1,024 ways, like the original Buffalo slot machine. BetMGM’s game page muddies this by saying both “40 Paylines” and “1024 ways” on the same page. The page also says that during wagered games 1,024 ways are played, which matches the layout and the rest of the family, so this page uses 1,024 ways. The 40-paylines line may simply be an error on the page.
BetMGM also describes the maximum wager as 40 coins. FanDuel lists bets from $0.40 to $240, which is the clearest dollar range on record for the game.
RTP, jackpots and volatility
The online version returns 95.50%, according to BetMGM. That puts it level with the 95.5% listed for Buffalo Gold Collection and above the 95.05% of Buffalo Gold Revolution and the 94.72% that OLG lists for the original Buffalo online. Only the 95.8% build of Buffalo Gold Max Power, the version PlayAlberta lists, is higher among the Aristocrat titles with published figures. On the land cabinet, the casino sets the return.
BetMGM lists three fixed jackpots in the Buffalo Rising feature, the top one worth 2,500x the bet. That is the largest prize on record for the game. BetMGM does not present it as a maximum multiplier for the whole game, so treat 2,500x as the top jackpot and not as a ceiling. Next to Buffalo Gold Max Power’s 12,995x, it is a modest top prize. The land cabinet adds a Buffalo Bucks jackpot chase whose values depend on the casino.
Aristocrat publishes no volatility rating. FanDuel labels the game low volatility, and BetMGM gives N/A. With BetMGM declining to give a label at all, the FanDuel rating is one operator’s view and nothing more.
Who makes it
The credits are split, and the reason is corporate. Aristocrat Gaming built the land cabinet. BetMGM lists the online version under Pariplay, the studio and aggregator that came with NeoGames, which Aristocrat acquired in 2024 and folded into Aristocrat Interactive. FanDuel credits Aristocrat directly. Both are right in the sense that both names belong to Aristocrat today. One detail stands out: Aristocrat Interactive’s December 2024 list of its five online Buffalo titles does not include Triple Power, which fits with the game reaching online casinos through the Pariplay side of the business.
Where to play Buffalo Triple Power in the US
BetMGM’s game page shows play buttons for New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania, and FanDuel carries the game too. West Virginia has not been confirmed, so this page does not list it. Players must be 21 or older and physically located in a listed state. Licensed operators by state are on the real-money hub, with separate pages for New Jersey and Michigan. SlotsLaunch does not carry the game, so there is no free demo on this page.
The land cabinet debuted at IGA in March 2023, and the Buffalo slots timeline places it alongside Buffalo Ultimate Stampede in that year. Aristocrat has since followed it with Buffalo Quad Power and Buffalo Triple Boost.
Where to play Buffalo Triple Power for real money
Buffalo Triple Power is confirmed at licensed online casinos in New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania. The state guides list the licensed sites that carry it.
